Bokashi is:

  • a Japanese method of pre-composting food waste from kitchens and cafeterias;
  • almost ALL food waste including meat, oil and dairy 
  • exception: large amounts of liquids (different technique required)
  • does not attract flies and rodents
  • reduces odors
  • improves composts and garden soils
  • well-suited for appartments and institutions
