• The City of Richmond bought the GCL in early 2011 for 59 million dollars
• The Musqueam First Nation sued the City of Richmond in early 2011
• The CIty of  Richmond is waiting for legal proceedings to end
• The Garden City Lands Conservation Society in consultation with many stakeholders and experts published the PARC concept gardencitylands.wordpress.com in june 2011
• City of Richmond Planning Dept is hiring a consultant to prepare a plan to present to the public  (spring 2013)
